Medical insurance for foreign graduates on an F1 visa.

OPT insurance plans are useful to those who are on a student visa but have already began working under the Optional Practical Training program. Eligibility requirements for the plans listed below vary from plan to plan. In general, you are eligible for most of the OPT health insurance plans listed below only if prior insurance in the U.S. was an international health insurance plan. In most cases, if you had a domestic health insurance, such as through from your school, you should instead look under the individual insurance section, either short term insurance or long term insurance.
