Atlas America will offer the Acute onset of pre-existing conditions to ages over 70. If you would like to learn more you can view our Acute Onset of Pre-existing Conditions FAQ. Coverage is always going to be determined using the doctors notes and medical records to see if the event met the criteria set forth by the plan.
Visitors Protect is the only plan that offers coverage for pre-existing conditions, but it still cannot be known, expected, or routine treatment.
Please be advised that it does has a 90 day minimum purchase and is not extendable. It has $1500 deductible built into the plan for anything relating to a pre-existing condition. It also must be purchased before the insured has left their home country.
